Silvernose lenses are all pretty old, they quit making them in the late 70's. Black front Olympus lenses replaced the silver ones around 1977 or 78 if I remember right. Originally most Olympus lenses were only single coated, and only a few of the more complex andcostly ones like the 28mm f2 and 24mm f2 were multicoated during the silvernose era. Even in the black fronts, most are single coated. In the 80's they gradually extended multicoating to most of the zuiko lenses, but I think a few like the 35mm f2.8 were never made in MC versions.
