The 3 cameras I use most are my M9, my GR and my E-M5; obviously the GR is the only pocketable one. But in any case, if I had to choose one, I would choose the GR.

GX1/7 with 14/2.5 or Olympus 14-42...

Best is Iphone or Android.
But must you shooting black and white? Because you must think about colour and not in post. Post is bull$hitingness. Sony does weird colour jpg. Admit. So does some Panasonik (GF1 good GX1 not so much good colour). If you make colour picture jpg should be good. Canon.
But I would say you probably already have this camera that you can take always, no?
Abstain from buying. Go looking for picture. Let your heart be filled with picture - bad or lovely.
Go.

For me it is Pentax Q with 01 lens for digital. I only wish they would produce a pancake lens in any focal length and aperture somehow faster than the f9.0 of the shield lens (which is fun anyway). I love that the controls are just like in any DSLR. I pair it with a Rollei 35 and use the Q as a light meter... The best design I think would be that of Jaeger-LeCoultre Compass camera from 1938 but the very few times this thing comes out at auction is so expensive that if I had one I would never really bring with me anywhere. It would still be a good companion to a Reverso tough...
