The first thing that came to my mind is the Olympus Stylus Epic (mju-I). This is the only one I tried and it is a real point and shoot that delivers (6$ or so with auto focus, if you are lucky).
Next I would say, XA2, if you do not mind zone focussing in three steps. If you open the clamshell, focus is set to hyperfocal distance, so no big problems in good light. Fast.
If you are more daring and want some more control over aperture and focus, Olympus XA. You do not have to care about exposure time, though.
The Olympus 35RC is also quite nice, if you can find a working one. It gives you even more flexibility (full manual mode available), but the obsolete battery (mercury) may be a problem.
