Some of you might rejoice to find out, that after all, I print my B&W digitally...
I have only recently upgraded to Epson 3880, and I have two questions for those of you in the know:
- what are the print settings that in your experience ALREADY deliver the highest visible quality on lustre paper for "print in hand" type of examination ( viewing prints from 30cm) ? I have tried to compare a 360 dpi "high speed" setting with a 720 dpi "finest detail" low speed setting in ABW mode, and frankly I cannot tell the difference. I have printed on Bonjet Atelier Fibre - replacement of Ilford Gold Fiber Silk.
- for those who have already tried one of the newest Epson SC machines, is B&W output really visibly much better?
Thanks
Marek
