Hi, I just got betterscanning holder and glass for my Epson V750. I thought I would upload a photo. From a recent trip to Chicago. Mamiya 6, Ektar 100.

looks sharp all the way through. i use a b-s glass with my epson 4490 holder for 35. huge difference ...

That looks superb, I've just ordered an Epson V700 to scan my Fuji GW690III negs ( I'm also buying a Pentax 67 soon ) which holder should I get or which would you recommend for 6x7 & 6x9 negs ? Any advice much appreciated.

You would use the same holder as me, because the frame dividers are removable. Just go to the website and look for the holder for the Epson v700 /750. I recommend getting the glass as well.

I am new to this but basically it is better because the holder is height adjustable therefore you would get the sharpest possible scan that the machine can produce. This is my understanding.

The OEM holders only have two setting from memory; The Betterscanning holders have a great deal more adjustability. BS are also aluminium based and are far more substantial. As a comparison I find that using BS and scanning MF I can "almost" equal the scans from my Minolta Multi Pro which is some achievement.
