My M5s need red dots!
I thought you'd like to hear about this: Central Camera in Chicago is clearing all their stock of Voigtlander cameras and accessories. Nope, not glass (that'd be too good!).
Check out the prices HERE!
BTW, I'm not connected or associated with Central Camera. It simply happens to be my local candy store
and their staff is very friendly and helpful, so I can recommend them.
Plus, free shipping always helps!
I got my Mamiya C220 from them (with an 80mm lens), and it had a one-year warranty.

It looks like Rich Pinto at photovillage.com is also moving discontinued CV stuff. He is selling Bessa R/35mm Color-Skopar combos for under $400, and the Bessa L body for $85. (I've no connection with Rich, other than being a customer. I recommend him as a dealer.)

I have been to Central Camera - a very old, very big camera store in the heart of downtown Chicago. I was there last year in December and bought a Leica Thread-Mount A. Schacht Travenar 90mm f2.8 from them - quite pleased with it. They sent me a thank-you card in the mail a week later!
Also, Stephen Gandy at Cameraquest has, I believe the same prices on the R and R w/lens packages as quoted above at PhotoVillage. I bought my silver Bessaflex M42 from Stephen and recommend him as well.
Of course, I am a Cosina/Voigtlander nut - I think they're great, insanely great, and I love what they're doing these days. The camera world needs a little shaking up, eh wot?
And furthermore - we need a new Spiratone!
Best Regards,
Bill Mattocks

I tried to order a case for an "L" and a lens case. Both out of stock. Oh well. That's life.

Did you try to order an L from CameraQuest?

I was just looking for the case, although the camera looks mighty attractive at that price.
I see he has a bunch that he's auctioning on eBay with the $85 "Buy It Now" price. Looks interesting. I'm waiting to see what Carl Zeiss has up its sleeve before spending any more cash. I might have to raise some money, if they were to unveil something stupendous.
