Billingham Hadley Pro + 13" Macbook?

A 15" will not fit. A 13" MBP or MB will fit as long as the padded insert is not completely packed to bursting.

(This is with the current models, don't know whether older models were bigger).

BTW the charger takes up 1/2 of one compartment in the insert (if you have it setup to have three equal size compartments).

I don't use the bag all that much anymore because it's just too small to hold the 13" Macbook. It's a Hadley Large by the way, but should be the same size as the pro.

Technically it does fit either behind the insert (not protected) or in the insert (no separation, no camera / lens except for maybe a pancake-like lens). It does strain the bag if you put it behind the insert and put too much stuff (volume-wise) into to the bag.

Thanks a lot for the quick responses.
I think I'll go for tha black Fibrenyte Hadley Pro then. I won't carry the notebook along every day, so I think this configuration is an acceptable compromise of size and usability.

If I'd only use a laptop occasionally I'd also use the Hadley (in fact, I do) but if you have to carry a laptop everywhere (plus books and all kinds of other stuff) I'd consider a 335. It fits the 13" MB / MBA perfectly either in the main or front compartment.

If you can live with a different brand maybe check out Crumpler. Ugly and a little over the top, but so much more practical.

I already have a large Crumpler New Delhi which I use on longer flights as handcarry. But I prefer a simple bag without velcro for daily use. That's why I was thinking in the direction of the Hadley Pro. It's simple, stylish and does not look like a camera bag.
