Hi friends!
Who can tell to me about objectives Carl Zeiss ZM, and that in them good, than they differ from Leica. It is better, if who has sent link pictures. In Moscow has appeared Biogon 35/2 for 1100 dollars, it seems high price to me is? Or it(he) of it costs(stands)? I apologize for bad English.

The Zeiss 35/2 is a superb lens. At f/4 and above I doubt there is anything sharper; contrast is excellent. I have shot several rolls of transparencies (Provia 100) and am delighted with the results. I will try to get transfers this month so I can share them for those interested.

I shall be glad to see as this lens if it is possible draws send to me on e-mail a picture in the high resolution, it is desirable on aperture2.0

Hmm... Joe, I look forward to hearing about this - even if you have to send the Ikon back for adjustment.
I am seriously considering this lens because it will give me a faster 35 than I currently have for the M3 (and yes, I have an external finder that will do just fine) and the M6.
The only thing I lose though is the "cool retro goggle" feature on the M3.

i have been reading up on the m3 and it seems if you are not too picky that the 35 fov is pretty much the whole finder area.
i'm gonna try it.

I figure, for $800 USD, that Biogon is a pretty good deal if it's anywhere near (or better) than the G Biogons - especially when a Summicron ASPH is going to run me about double the price.

the lens itself is very nice.
not as heavy as some of the older canon brass/chrome lens or as heavy as a modern leica 35/2 but has enough heft to feel substantial.
i prefer the outward shaped tab to the concave leica one and he focus is sooo smoooth.
