Can you please share your experience with 35 Summarit and compare it with the ones mentioned here so far? I remember I read some very good things about it from Ashwin (either here or at DPR). Thanks.

Many thanks everyone for such contribution (and amazing pictures).
Taking cost into account, it seems that instead of a 35mm Summilux (from 1967 by the way), I would be better off buying the Zeiss 35/f2.8 AND the Zeiss 25/f2.8.
For approximately the same price, I am loosing a couple of stops on the 35mm Summilux lens, but the possibilities of the 2 Zeiss ones are so numerous, that I am gaining significantly more than I am giving away.
As to the Leica feel of the lens, I will have to compromisebang for a slower (f2.5/f2.8) one in the future.
