Birth

Oh what can I say ... merci à tous, thank you all, you're too nice to me, I'm touched.
Mike: I'm glad you like this picture, I like it too ;-)
crawdiddy: I guess wives of RFF members have to be tolerant of the camera. I just hesitated to post the pictures, but she's fine with that.
Again, merci.

Marc - I have a daughter (5) and a son (3) and was there every minute of both deliveries. In fact, for six hours during my daughter's delivery my wife was in the anti-odalisque pose while I pushed my knuckles into her lower back. Your marvelous images bring me right back to those moments. My favorite is #7 - you captured a look on your wife's face that brought tears to my eyes. From a technical standpoint, the shots look surprisingly less contrasty than I usually expect from Neopan 1600.

Congratulations to you and your wife and welcome to your son - John

What beautiful photos. So personal but also universal. They brought back memories and emotions for me too. Congratulations on your lovely family, and best wishes to all.

Marc, congratulations from Simonetta and me ! We think your stars will make you happy ! ....and nice set of pictures as well !

John, Laura, Robert, thanks a lot for your words 🙂

I can tell you that some shots I didn't post are very contrasty, almost unworkable with the scanner/photoshop. I didn't processed my roll myself but the Fuji lab in Paris (which works for different labs) did. I must say that I was a bit disappointed by the results (usually they do great job), but I'm waiting for some prints I ordered to see the final results; scans can be deceptive so it's better to judge from prints.
Best,
Marc

Steve, thanks for your PM, what you said touched me.
Roland, that means more family pictures to come ;-)
Ned, merci beaucoup, your comment means a lot to me.
