I've always been skeptical about black finish fixed lens RF's. That chrome matches age, black for me works as SLR finish. And you know, silver SLR's look too chick.
Though in summer I got black 35 MC, real user and cool looking. Yeah, that black finish scratches off easier, especially when original metal lens hood is used. Otherwise it's refreshing difference as my other RF's are chrome.
Probably black GX will sell for more - if this helps?

Can't believe one Chrome GX sold at ebay by US520! US250 is max. for me.

I have seen GX going for about 55! It weren't mint though not beater in any way. That 520 is terrible coincidence...maybe just dumb bid wars?
