I've got a IIIc converted to a IIIf. As is normal for such a conversion the numbers on the synchronization dial are on a thin plate of metal attached to the body, instead of being engraved on the boyd. The numbers themselves are in black. Do conversions play by the same rules as non-conversions in terms of the difference in settings and manufacture (or conversion) dates between red dials and black dials?
