Black Dot Leicas!

For many years there were only red dot Leica M's. Then the black dot was introduced (I think for the first time) in 2000 on the LHSA M6 TTL http://cameraquest.com/lm6lhsa.htm
From that time on, from time to time there were other black dot Leica M's.

Aside for the alacarte cameras, what other Leica M's were standard with black Leica dots ?

I do recall a member here in Texas.. I want to say David River but that's not who I'm thinking of.. Andrew.. no no .. Bob.. hmm.. anyway, a member here would often get black dots that would replace the red dots on any M.

So it may be hard to "tell" if it's standard or not no?
