How does the 70's Black finish Jupiter-8 lens diffes from the 1950-60's chrome models (quality, materials)?

The black one has a single helical focus rather than a double. That means that the entire lens rotates as you focus. The f-numbers will always move around and if you use a polarizer, it will be a little harder to predict the results.
