Mine is black, but the lens is chrome. At first I wanted it to be all black, but when I got the chrome summicron (couldn't find the black one for the price), now I am starting to like chrome more, but I think I will stick to my current setup, since the looks doesn't change anything about how the camera works

Kiev chrome, XA black, Super Press 23 black, FFL RF chrome. I suppose I have slight preference towards black, but I really don't care if it does what I want.

Probably asked before. Your rangefinder camera; black or silver?

I have both black and silver bodies as well as lenses. It is important to be able to choose whichever is best color coordinated with the clothes I am wearing that day. If I am wearing a tuxedo and want to make a statement, I will always choose a silver body frequently with black lens accent. If I am dressed more casual, it is often a black body which the choice of black or silver lens as necessary to complete the overall look.

Black, but only only if it is black paint over brass. Then chrome, but only if it is chromed brass (well, ok, Zinc too I suppose). Then black, but only if it is black chrome. Then black paint over aluminum. Then silver anodized aluminum. Then silver paint over aluminum.

How's that for an answer? 😀

My Bessa R and 35/2.5 Color Skopar are both black because that's what was available when I bought my camera. If I was buying it over again, I'd probably get the silver.
