The magazine has just published a supplement for the B+W Photographer of the Year award in issue 130 - my copy was received just today. Now, I don't know whether you guys and girls get this mag in the USA, but I would really like to know your views and those from this side of the pond too on the winning entry for the award, if you get a chance to see a copy. I could best describe the winner's entry as Tate Modern style of ultra avant-garde, IMHO. Basically, shots of lots of naked men and women on a beach, with all exposed - pun intended. Am I alone in thinking this picture is just pointless, or am I missing some deep and meaningful interpretation?
Advice needed, please. Perhaps I am just getting too old to understand!

Well I don't know, but if you can tell they are men or women it can't be too avant-garde now.
Will have to wait until it shows up at the local book store, while we still have one.
