Sorry, but you made your choice when you said yes to sex, too late for a do-over.
Some women say no to sex, but still end up in this predicament.
That's besides the point, however.
Regarding your skull crushing comment. If you have an abortion within the first 13 weeks (first trimester), which is where Roe v Wade essentially states that the state should not interfere with this practice, the procedure is called a dilatation and curettage, or suction curettage.
This procedure accounts for over 90% of abortions in the US and does not involve skull crushing or actual delivery of the foetus.
These protesters, and yourself, are thus misrepresenting what the majority of abortions performed in the US are like.
The abortions performed after 12 weeks are supposed to be regulated by the state so that they are not performed unless the health of the mother is in danger.
Life in Lubbock, Texas, taught me two things: One is that God loves you and you're going to burn in hell. The other is that sex is the most awful, filthy thing on earth and you should save it for someone you love.

The very idea of abortion is horrible, but equally, calling it 'baby-killing' and 'skull crushing' is. as you have pointed out, hopelessly dishonest in first-trimester abortions.
A first-trimester abortion, however, doesn't make much of a photograph -- and this is about the power of photography.
A thought on the power of photography: imagine a picture of a young woman, face in shadow, with a caption something like, "Susan, 17, was raped when she was 14. She was denied a legal abortion, so she went to the back-streets. Now she is incontinent for life and can never have children...'
Only the most vicious of absolutists would fail to feel sorry for her. But apparently there are such people. And it's only a little more exaggerated than the 'baby killing' argument.
Cheers,
R.

I very much agree, abortion is horrific whenever it is performed. Indeed, one of the 'complications' listed in the Kurz Gynaecology textbook for second trimester abortions is psychological damage in the medical staff.
As much as I am personally against it though, I believe in the woman's right to choose during those first 12 weeks, as the foetus is in no way viable.
