After last night's attempted/alleged car bomb attack in Times Square, the police are certainly asking everyone with photographic documentation/leads to come forward, right?

Well, maybe the Mayor should just get everyone a camera and ask them to shoot away in order to get more leads?:D
 
I hope a street photographer turns out to have the evidence they need. Perhaps then the attitude toward street photography will change.

No. They will look at the photos of the surveillance cameras of the last year. Then they will search for all photographers they captured on tape. One photographer must have taken the photo to find the right parking place for the car, right? So again, photographers are the real terrorists. After that photography will be banned in NY completely to prevent further terror attempts.

Hope it doesn't come this way.

and Have Not had any Problems shooting here...
even on the Street at World Summit Demonstrations

Shot a lot of NYC Cops ...;)

Do Hope Bloomberg takes Your SUGGESTION Dave. ...another cam would be FUN !

I live in Philadelphia, but I shoot up in NYC all the time. When the mayor decides to buy everyone a camera, maybe he could get me a black paint Nikon SP? I'll pay for the developing & printing.
