Massachusetts Boston area meeting??

I will make an effort to meet up with people. Can't do it on a school day (I'm a teacher), but the Patriot's Day week is a school vacation week, and there are weekends, too.

I'm in town until Jan 27th, then back to Brazil! I would love to go to a meetup if you guys are up for a date before then! Maybe next Sunday the 23rd?
 
So far as I know nothing happened yet. New dates without snow and freezing temps would be nice. I am up for most any date and location. Thoughts and suggestions?

Well, I have a meeting in Boston on 2/5, till about 2. I could meet somewhere in Boston or Cambridge or the northern suburbs after that. Same deal next Saturday (the 12th).

I forgot that some people (at least one) said Saturdays were out. Either weekday is OK with me, and I don't really care where so long as it's in the Boston area. I'm in town the weekends of 2/5 and 2/12 but am going away for February school vacation.

I too am pretty flexible, but I think current weather suggests holding off a bit. Spring is just around the corner. 🙄 And parking now is a disaster just about everywhere.

Hold on, gotta go shovel some more snow. :bang:

I'm the sunday only guy... Could do a Saturday afternoon, depending on the date. Should we aim for late March/early April? Sure to be warmer by then! And by the way, where's the smiley for wishful thinking?

It'd be fun to go out shooting...

Either Saturday or Sunday's OK with me. Soon is OK with me, too, but since you suggest late March, how about Sunday 3/27? Rain or shine, snow or sun.

I'm in. Sat. 26th would also work for me. Afternoons definitely. How about a location, taking into account parking?

BTW, those guys in NYC put us to shame; they have monthly meet ups!

(Maybe we should be thinking like baseball fans. 😀)

I can't do the 26th, so let's meet the afternoon of the 27th. Now... where? I have a newborn at home, so I'd prefer not to travel too far for the first meeting, in case I'm *paged* 😉 I live in Brookline, so I'm reasonably flexible, but I'd prefer not to go too deep downtown and have to deal with parking around there. That could be good for future, potentially warmer, get-toegthers.

And Joerg, sorry you can't make it! Hopefully we can make this into something more regular...
