I'll be back for Thanksgiving this year, possibly with one of my European film-shooting buddies who's never been to the East Coast and may tag along.

I'd certainly be up for a casual/friendly Beer n' Gear like last time (I believe we met up at Sunset Grille in Allston, but anywhere is fine), or for a photo walk, as I promised to show him around my hometown if he was able to come.

Anyone game? :)

Sounds good to me! I'm about 30 miles outside the city these days... moved out when I got married but I know the city like the back of my hand.

Timing is likely going to be sometime between the 3rd and the 13th (weekend of the 6th 7th or 8th might be optimal?).

Does anyone have any requests/suggestions regarding timing/location/activity? If it's only a few of us, a photo walk might be good too (just because I can't stand when there is a troop of 20+ people tramping about sticking their cameras in people's faces...

So would you guys prefer Sunday? Perhaps late morning or very early afternoon -- I'd forgotten just how early things get dark around here in early December...

Spicy, I'm here, but won't be in Boston those dates, between the 7th and 13th.

Keep this thread on active and I'll bet you'll have some takers. That's what's happened before.

Any takers for Sunday afternoon? My endless solo posting in this thread is starting to hurt my feelings lol.

C'mon Boston...

I'm free Sunday afternoon as of now. Sunset seems to be around 4:30 these days unless it's overcast in which case it is closer to 3:30-4.

I'm good for Sunday early afternoon, not so good for Saturday. But I could do Sat. if it would help make the day. The Alston location was pretty bad for parking, the Brookline (Beacon St. bar) was good. Was it The Abbey?

Harry

I'll try to make it Sunday if that works better for everyone, but I can't guarantee. It sounds like there's at least 3 of you, so that's a start! Yes, it was the Abbey on Beacon St. in Brookline where we met a while back.

Spicy, any thoughts?

I won't be available on Saturday. Sunday afternoon/evening works for myself and my friend, though.

Last time we did Sunset in Allston, but it was only myself and the two Harrys, so parking wasn't too much of a hassle. I'm not super familiar with the city (grew up in the suburbs to the north) in terms of good places to eat and hang out with good parking, so I'm happy to listen to alternative ideas.

Saturday has disappeared as possibility for me; has to be Sunday. I suggest the Abbey on Beacon St.

Aaron, google it; easy to find, easy to park on Sundays.

Harry

Sounds good. Anyone who is coming, feel free to PM me and I can respond with my cell number to coordinate -- last time we met, Harry and I walked past each other and we ended up meeting around 45min late, haha.
