My most memorable moment when I was maybe 15: bottom of the 9th at Candlestick. Two out, two on, Dodgers up by 2. Conference on the mound. They left Drysdale in to pitch to McCovey. Next pitch went just about out of the stadium over the right field wall. Everyone knew it was coming and everyone knew it was gone when the ball met the bat. McCovey owned Drysdale.

Gosh, you guys make it tough to compete. All I ever saw was Koufax pitch a no-hitter...against the Giants.

Yeh, but no-hitters are so boring.

Mike,
Well maybe the Dodgers don't want to lead in wins against the Giants.
This is why the next RFF meeting is in Davis: neutral territory.

Truly neutral territory would be Raley Field, home of the Rivercats...
(Oakland A's AAA farm club)...

I did not start this Giants vs. Dodgers thing (check the thread) but I will end it on my part. It is becoming a one upsmanship thing and I am sad that I bought into it. So see ya'll later. Be well, Bob

Next Bay Area meet-up? Giants vs. Dodgers??
Next Bay Area meet-up? Giants vs. Dodgers??
It certainly sounds like this idea might fly: The next Bay Area RFF meet-up at PacBell Park (or whatever its called these days) for a Giants-Dodger game? Hmmm?
