Just received a CV 28/1.9 from sleepyhead here on the forums. First off, I'd like to thank sleepy for giving me a generous deal on the lens and secondly, WOW. This lens is better than I had expected. It has a nice smooth and short focus and the all around quality is really up there. As mentioned by others, it looks at home paired with the RD1. I've only shot a few office shots so far but plan to use it this weekend. Will share a few photos soon.
Thanks again everyone for the excellent recommendations and I plan to revisit this thread often to re-read a few replies, as I'll probably only fully appreciate your opinions after I've used the camera a bit more.

Some shots with the RD1x. Used a Jupiter 8 and a CV 28/1.9 Ultron. Just bought a Zeiss Biogon 35/2.8....really excited about getting it.

That's a fancy lap for a caravan!
You'll love that Biogon c 35mm. A really nice lens!

Thanks again guys. I'm very happy with the 3 lenses I have now. Love the organic and creative images they produce. In addition to the lenses, I bought a new Sony A7s as I read from a few sources that it plays very well with Leica mount lenses. I'll be testing my new lenses on it as well this week...gonna be busy! In the meantime, here is a potato shot of the 'double-trouble'.

I like the look of some of those images... have fun with it!

When I had my RD1s, my primary (at least 90% of the time) was the CV 35/1.2. It may be the only lens you need with your RD1x.

Truth is beauty
I saw this thread a bit late... You got two great lenses already...
Because of its field of view and small size, a CV 21 would be my main lens with that camera. By the way, Epsons have great tone and colors... Keep enjoying!
Cheers,
Juan
