The one few people talk about and that is thought suspect by many. The CV 50mm f2.5 ... During a RFF print exchange a while ago, I recieved a very good print done with the CV 50 f2.5.
I'm a little late seeing this thread... I have only one 50mm (other than a J8 and Contax Sonnar) to fit RF cameras, and it's the model Frank mentions here. The very one that took the shot he received in the exchange. Below is a small version of that photo and a 100% scale crop of one corner (Fuji NPZ 800 film shot at EI 500).
The lens is beautifully made and surprisingly compact. I know it has a mixed reputation with some, but it's very popular in Japan. I like its rendition of tones, it seems plenty sharp to me, but it does have a touch of linear distortion (pincushion type). I find I don't use the lens very much, preferring the 28-40mm range.
