I bought a Bressa L about 4 years ago to use with my 15mm when I wanted a spare body. Well, I paid $69 for it and it sat in the box for months. When I pulled it out, film would not advance correctly. It looks like the film sprocket advances the film faster then the take up spool will take it up.

Now I suppose this could just be a gear out of alignment in the film advance drive train and might be easily repairable if I can get the bottom off (taking it to ABQ tomorrow which is the closest camera repair shop). What do you think is a reasonable amount to spend on repair $50?

It looks like it would be a hoot with the 15. Every thing else (metering, shutter etc) seems to work. Anyone else experience this problem?

This is the clutch that is malfunctioning. There are two nylon washers that are acting as a friction clutch driving the take up spool. They have probably lost tension from not being used, and thus advance at reduced speed...

I should be easy to repair, but probably not worth paying for it. If you feel like giving i a try it should be manageable, I believe the interiors of an L would be very simple. As far as I recall the gears could even be in the bottom of the camera? In that case it should be quite easy...
