I think we can all appreciate the wisdom in Star Trek.

Not to mention how much the 1960's Star Trek Comic Books have appreciated. Best $0.12 I ever spent.

I don't think I ever saw the Star Trek comic books (I was buying the Marvel products). But I bet those are quite valuable now.

"Mr. Shim" -- I like that.

I saw a 1966 Number one issue of Star Trek with the Captain Kirk photo on the back sell for the price of an M8.

I think I'll list mine when the new movie comes out.

They call me "Mr. Shim". Naa- I prefer "What IDIOT came up with THIS!"

I knew a guy who bought an original-version video recorder back in the late 1960s for serious money because he wanted to record Star Trek shows as they were being broadcast. He assumed those now-classic episodes would never be seen again. Little did he know the show would go into almost immediate syndication.

Darn, I blew my cover...

Pics are at the processor, away for a few days, will have some results mid week. Probably post on the "bokeh" thread. The movie is called "Twilight in the Swamp", but I'll just post stills.

That recorder someone talked about was probably Betamax. Great format, but Sony was totally inept marketing the product. Pro's said "Yes", public said "Huh". I still have one of those around, 'cause it's in the rack, and I never took it out....
