On a M6 the bright-lines doesn't show the frame coverage very precisely, but on the M8 it seems to be more inaccurate than so.

The smallest step in focal length is from 24 to 28, but in the viewfinder the difference is clear. 75 to 90 is a little bigger step, but i can't see any difference at all between these two frames.

Those of you who have been using their M8 more than i have, have you noticed which bringt-line frames are most accurate?

Is one of the frames more flase than the others. Is the one for 75 correct and the one for 90 to large or is it the other way around?

I don't own an M8 but I suspect in the flurry to get the camera out and the seeming lack of thorough testing etc. what they probably did was just have someone rescale the framelines proportional to the crop factor, however the M6 framelines historically cropped a small amount in consideration of the part of a slide cropped by the mount or a negative carrier, whereas the M8 sensor puts on the monitor the image from the entire sensor. That would account for why the M8 framelines show less of what you get than the M6 does.
