Bronica rf645 pics

The lenses are very sharp and I sold mine simply because I was using 35mm RF and 6x7 RF so it kinda got stuck between them. I could not find a 100 or 135 lens so that sealed it.

Wonderful cameras tho!

BTW those car accidents are quite common when people use both feet to drive an auto! My brother used to investigate these 'demonically possessed cars' which rocketed away all by themselves when people hit the 'brakes.' They all ended the same way, with discovering that the driver used the left foot for the brake and the right for the accelerator, but then sometimes the right foot for the break... and then got confused.

I just got my rf645 one week ago;)

I like them perudo (also following now on tumblr!)

I received my Bronica RF645 last week, and today I'm going to get my first roll back from the lab, very curious about the results!

I hope to be soon a contributor to this thread.

thank you silent1
I'm following you too on tumblr, some really great pics on your blog!

nice set for a starter. loved the pics, especially the last one with long exposure. do you mind sharing what film and lens?

Thanks!
It's the 65mm f4. Perfect focal length for me.
As for the film, it's TriX 400 exposed at 320 ISO. I developed it in HC110 dil. B for 6m15s. I was about to develop it for 6m40s but then the soup temperature's went up to 21ºC during the development so I shortened it a bit. Epson V700 scans.

Here's a few more of mine that I took this past spring...

Been tempted to sell mine - want the 100mm but one deal fell through (fraudster on FM) and the other was a bit too rich. But after a view of these latest pics, wow!

Paul - sweet stitch on Lakes 4 - 5. What is your current main camera?

I'm back with three more.. long live the RF645!!

Thanks Brian!

You've motivated me to get mine out of the closet and start using it again. Shot a couple of rolls but haven't developed them yet.

Regards,

Lou

Hi Brian,

I took my grandson (nearly 2) to the park yesterday. Spent the afternoon chasing him around with the 100 mm lens on the RF645. I am afraid I am not as mobile as I used to be but we had a great time.

The RF645 has a roll Arista 400 in it which I've never used before. I've just started using film again after about 5 years. Fortunately, I couldn't part with any of my film cameras.

I bought the RF645 new about 04 and managed to acquire the complete kit in a few months. It is a great kit for medium format. Light enough to lug around the camera and three lenses if you're inclined. Although, I have my eye on a Bessa III. I am more of a one camera one lens man these days.

My darkroom is a garden shed in the back yard. Once I patch up a few light leaks and give it a good clean out, I'll get those rolls developed. I have a five year old Epson 4990 that seems to still work OK but I haven't used it to scan medium format film for a few years.

Thanks for the reply Brian.

Regards,

Lou

I really liked my RF645, and I was lucky enough to own the 100mm lens. But I sold it because I had problems with the film transport. How are they holding up for folks?

I also got great results with the system, but had many problems with the build of the camera. I ended up selling it out of frustration, as it spent more time in the repair shop than in my hands.

That is really a pity to hear - I have just spent a lot of time on the Flicker checking the photos taken with RF645, Fuji GW690 and Mamiya 6 - the Bronica really shines in my eyes - the bokeh of the lens and the "3D pop" (for the lack of a better word) really puts it above the rest of the group in my opinion - even in spite of rather slow and wide lens (65/4)
