Here we go....
I've just souped my first roll of film in probably 25 years. Of course, like most of my (ad)ventures, this will probably remain an inexact science.
For starters, I made my stock developer solution (HC-110) diluted twice as much as recommended. Had a brain cramp and somehow thought the bottle it came in was 8oz rather than a pint. In my fuzzy logic, that meant that for developing in Kodak's "B" mode, I only had to add 1/3rd more measure of water by volume to reach "normal" "B" dilution. Maybe...
Stretched out the development time to @8 minutes, remembering the forgiveness inherent in HC-110. Wasn't too sure about the water temperature, either...need to buy a thermometer...
The film is drying now, and doesn't look TOOOOO bad from a naked eyeball point of view. I'll check it in an hour or so, and see what I've got. BTW, the film was Arista's Ultra 100. Seemed a good way to get back in the habit, so to speak.

Yuck...Ptooey....
Negatives are WAY to dense...I'll try again with this witches' brew I made, and will also go get another jug of HC-110 and follow the recipe more closely...
