Voigtlander Nokton Classic 40mm 1.4. Fast, excellent quality, affordable - I bet you can get one on ebay for 350.

alright.. just an update for those curious. My lens and camera should be shipping tomorrow. I got the lens from the classifieds here today, literally right before clicking BUY on a FSU Industar 50/2.8.
So in summation, I've got a M2 en route, as well as the Skopar I wanted. Just need to fix some pin holes and for $550 I'll have what should be a nice first Leica rig, albeit with no meter. My girlfriend was going to buy me one for my birthday, but she ended up buying me the skopar instead (which is fine by me) and after taking apart my canonet and cleaning it and recalibrating and darkening the rangefinder patch, I realized that a meter isn't so necessary.
shot guessing the exposure, no bracketing, tri-x at 1600, f/11 I think for about 4 seconds on bulb. Some of the shots are underexposed near the begining of the roll when I was still playing around, but I figure f1.7 @ 1/30 will do me right.
