the guy, from whom i bought lynx 14e (yashica rf, i did have to fix aperture and some wires inside, now works great) selling a lot of oher nice stuff.
first, i was only aiming to yashica, but now i must say i'm hooked. lynx is not exactly small camera, but excellebt for low light, i was thinking getting something like fed2 (small, usable) for casual shooting, but also have to look cool. guy selling a lot of stuff, fed2,3, zorki 3, agfa etc etc (look at the pics). that zenit uses m39 mount, right: can that 35/2.8 lense csn be used on fed's etc? oh, and which would u pick?

do your job, then let go
I am pretty sure that the Zenit uses a 45mm lens-film distance. The Leica standard is different.
IMHO the Kiev is the coolest
The next to the last one in your list.

ok, so no zenit lenses then, huh (i was kinda excpect that).
yep, i also targeting towards fed2/3 and kiev. fed 2 looks best to me, but i would prefer 2c model, without that silly lense shape.

I've always been more fond of the Kievs. I like the looks better and I've had far better luck with Kievs than with Feds - never tried Zorkis so ... Out of that selection, I'd definately go for the Kiev 4AM over anything else. The MF folder looks interesting, but I don't recognize the make, no RF and bellows are always a concern at that age bracket.
Good luck with whatever you decide. I've gotten much fun and good shooting out of Kievs. May just have to get another Kiev myself, I'm starting to miss them...

that's 35mm format folder, i also thought it is mf, forgot his name. one other thing, film loading on kiev is from back, not bottom, right? i think i like this way better. another point more for kiev, hehe.

Ah, if it's 35mm in that style, it's probably early to middle 30's then. Good for a collector, not so good for a user.
And yes, the whole back comes off of the Kiev cameras. It's much easier to load IME. Plus that Helios-103 lens is no slouch. http://www.keithberry.telinco.co.uk/Kiev-4.htm has lots of great information on the Kiev.

I would be inclined to the FED-2. It is nice and compact. All the FEDs and Zorks you show are twin-lock back loaders. The Kiev has no advantage there. The little folder is interesting but a postwar Voigtlander would be a better bet and they are cheap.

Zorki 4 loads from back also, if you wear eye glasses the Zorki has an adjustable diopter and you have a wider choice of LTM lenses avaiable.
My preference would be a tie for first with the Keiv4 and the Zorki 4.

zorki's are not that big problem here to get, i miss realy good deal (almost fot nothing) on 4k one time, it was like new. basiacly, i can get some zorki any time i want, maybe some zorki s or c some day, just for fun. i think i'm down to fed2 or kiev for now. fed look more fun, but kiev is technicaly better, i think.
my fear is that i will end with all of two them on the end, i got too much of thiss old stuff already, must sell something. ok, not realy that much, but i don't want to become collector, it's bad for your social life and your wallet, hehe.

Yeah, I worried about that also, at one time... about 8 Zorkis and muuuuultiple lenses ago!"my fear is that i will end with all of two them on the end,..."
Well, not really. I now have cameras I can talk to (once I learned Russian) and since I no longer had need of a wallet"...but i don't want to become collector, it's bad for your social life and your wallet."
Take your time izo. Decide what features are important to you and shop around for a reliable enjoyable FSU that has those features (or more). If you haven't been to Jim Blazik's site, I'd recommend it. Great place to browse different models and types of FSUs. Jim's site has single-handedly been the "springboard to the poor farm" for many of us.
Good luck! Have fun!

in your post you said that he sells zorki3 but i dont see it on photos. i would take that one if he sell it. and if he dont have it take zorki 4 or kiev 4. it depends what mount you prefer.
fed 2 is nice but dont have slow speeds.

Hi,
If you decide on a Fed 2, the green and red one are still available here. If you don't like the lens on the red one, I can swap then over or even send a very clean Jupiter 8 with it.

I looked for the Zorki.3 too, but didn't find. I like the Z.3. Read up on it's weaknesses before buying. But for sure, one of Kim's FEDs would be a winner. I don't own a FED, but those are a nice size, have wide RF and Kim's look really clean & schweeet!
