A picture taken using a Leica M6 (made before the wall came down in the 80's) and A Jupiter 8 lens. This wall is much older than the Berlin variety - the light coloured masonry at the top is a bit of a Roman civic building.

Yes - it's no. 6048542 in silver. Lovely lens!

I was quite impressed too and wondered if mounting it on a Leica body made a difference.

I'm currently waiting for my first film back from my M6/J-8 combo. I bought the camera then couldn't afford a new lens to go with it...glad to see such lovely results; though I wouldn't expect anything less after the photos my J-8 gives me from my Zorki 4. I love that lens.

I'm currently expecting a Jupiter 3 and hoping for some good results. Even after many years and owning many examples the J8 continues to please.

I have never seen an Jupiter 8, or an other Jupiter lens, in reel but can somebody post an picture of that lens (not by that lens)?
I am just curious.
Thanks.

And here's mine, which is the other way around - black body, silver lens.
