The normal word for sealing foam is モルト（moruto). So I'm not sure exactly what "sealing gum" is. Probably just a rubber seal like on the later version F2 eyelevel prism.

it should be the sealing at prism as I'm looking at a Nikon F3. Hope it won't be a great problem on the camera.
