Waiting for 35f2

Woah.... Did you get a blood transfusion from Joe?

:p

I like fuji gear also.
Got an XA1 that will likely go to Mom or the Miss.
It's all wonderfully inexpensive, excellent IQ, and fun to use.
My favorite.... The GF670.
I use it the least in terms of frames taken but... It delivers tee best of my keepers :) (on ilford or kodak though :D)

Considering how fast he made the trades.. Less than 4 weeks..he has Joe beat by a country mile, Andy :D

That's not following a roadmap, Frank, that's doing donuts in a parking lot ;)

Sooooo much more fun !

I would have been happy with my first XE-2/16-50 and XM-1/27 setup, but the Rolleiflex has been on my desired list for a while and the trade opportunity fell into my lap. The guy was trying to sell the Rollei on Kijiji for a while. He lost his local source for 120 film and developing, so for him, film was dead. Plus he was about to go on holiday and was looking for a compact digital camera.

No, no. I'm quite focused and consistent. This was the same kit I assembled first. It needed to be partially sacrificed for me to acquire the Rolleiflex. Now I've put it back the way it was. I'm happy.

Calling this a roadmap is proof positive that at your last job you were a beta tester for the first generation Apple Maps!

Generous at best, very generous.

It does look like a lot of fun.

I've got to admit, the searching, buying, selling, and trading has been fun.

I would have missed out on all of that if I were a one camera and one lens/ less is more type.

I agree: there's enjoyment and knowledge to be gained by experimenting, looking at and trying different things. And the buying, selling, trading stuff can be fun all by itself.

Sometimes I take on the "1C-1L" position and explore it for a while, find where my head's at in that milieu for a while ... It's useful, but I want to do more things with my photography than that approach permits to do it 100% of the time. I mostly use only a small circle of equipment, but there are times when I need a very wide or very long lens, and the right body to use them on.

I see the experimentation aspect of photography as a helpful addition to the creative aspect. I play with a lot of different gear. When the time comes to produce results for a project or commission, I know which gear will get me the results I want. I do not suffer from the paralysis of choice syndrome. (POCS)

So here's my first share-worthy MX-1 with 27 combo:
