There's delight lenses for our M43 cams : C-Mount and CCTV lenses.
Please show us your combos, describing camera adaptor lens, and perhaps a sample showing specificities of the lens.
Note : only porn please, about technical questions you will find all you want here : http://www.flickr.com/groups/c-mount_/discuss/

I love that lens : very soft and flary wide open, with wonderful "60's" colors.

One of my two CCTV lens… bought it new for 80$ at B&H's. I love it because it's really compact and fast, with a special swirly bokeh and few vignetting. Colors are saturated, specially the green ones.

Incredible sharp and fast tele lens (150mm eq. on a M43 system!). You must focus very carefully and stable…
Colors are a little bit cold, but it isn't an issue for me. The lens is heavier than the camera, that's why I always carry the combo by the lens.
Metabones adaptor is really solid, so it's perfect for this lens.

Very beautiful and well made lens, but I use it only wide open, because there's a lot of vignetting. I love the screwing cap with SOM Berthiot logo.

Great thread and great photos, especially the flowers! The colors remind me of the Agfachrome 50S from the 70s.
One question: Are these pictures direct jpgs or did you shoot raw?

Thanks for your kind words.
The colors of the 50mm are vintage, indeed : I love that lens!
I ALWAYS shoot raw! For me it's like negatives, then you can work in the lab with
But the pictures above aren't post-processed : simply converted with LR3, in order to show real colors and specificities of the lenses.

That lens seems to be really interesting - and few vignetting, isn't it?
The pictures are not @ 3:2 ratio… did you cropped the pictures?

When using the shade with this lens you will experience vignetting. Without the shade I do not notice any vignetting.
With the GF1 you can set to four different formats, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, and 1:1.
The pictures are 4:3 format and no cropping. You can see the difference in size when displaying at 1000 x 750 vs 640 x 480.

Here are some shots taken with a Lumix G1 and the Kodak Cine 63/2.
I'll post some photos taken with the other two lenses that are shown here
mounted on the camera a little later; although, the results are soft, muted, and flare-y.
This Kodak lens surprised me with its clarity.

The two Lytar lenses on the pictures seem to be gorgeous lenses; what are the focal lengths?

When I had Panasonic G1 I also had two C-Mount lenses.
- Carl Zeiss Jena Tevidon 25mm f1.4 (on picture with me :])
- Canon TV-16 13mm f1.5 (I will show it when I will find picture)
Tevidon gives strong vignette, swirl bokeh... but good contrast and good sharpness.
Me with Tevidon 25/1.4

Finally got around to taking some shots with the Lytar SOM Berthiot 25/1.8 (some level adjustments, no cropping, no sharpening):

Panasonic Lumix GH1 + Concord Television Lens 50mm f1.4 + Metabones C-Mount to M43 adaptor
It's a really gorgeous heavy lens with 10 aperture blades.
I bought it on the bay to an american seller (never known that brand before) and it was a bargain because the focusing barrel was missing :
So I repaired it with a M42 macro extension tube (fortunately it was almost the same diameter) :
Then I obtained a wonderful lens, a little bit too long for me, actually needing a lens hood because the lens is really flary when shooting with sun light :
But indoor, it's a marvelous portrait lens, with saturated colors, specially the reds (the jpeg aren't post processed) :

E-P1 + Cosmicar/Pentax 25/1.4
E-P1 + Cosmicar/Pentax 25/1.4
+ Aki-Asahi leatherette
Samples:
Almost no vignetting wide open, easily corrected in Lightroom.
Pretty heavy vignetting at f/8, but very sharp as well.
Swirly bokeh!
You can go pretty close-up with that lens, with some interesting dof effects!
Distortion! And swirly bokeh! And vignetting! What more can you ask for?
More swirly bokeh!
Due to the len's large initial aperture and inherent optical "flaws", you can get quite shallow dof even at longer focusing distances.
Bokeh frenzy!

efix, I can see you love that lens too!
Did you see the metal hood I've found on the bay?
There's somme collapsible rubber hoods too, from Zeiss Ikon (but you can't put a cap on).
Your pictures are really good, and your cat is a twin of mine.
I like the leatherette too; I regrets Pen cameras haven't a built-in VF… maybe the next version?
