Delving up my old C33 which has been sitting for a long time, I have restored the lenses and got the winding mechanism to work back again, only to find that the cocking arm (the metal piece that actually cocks ther shutter sitting just above the shutter itself ) on my C33 does not return to its most upward position enough, allowing the shutter on my lens to not complete its cycle.
Now I do not mind cocking the shutter manually, like I do on my C220, but I am to eager to make this work on the C33. Ofcourse I have been thinking about filing the mechanism down and get rid of it all together, but honestly speaking. That is not the way, is it.
I am not sure if the cocking mechanism is slightly dislocated (like by force or so) and therefore readjusting it a notch up or down or so would just do the trick as it seems that it travels slightly too far down too when cocking the shutter. So that is why I suspect that maybe somewhere I can adjust it.
However…. There are no drawings to be found anywhere on internet that tell me how to get to that mechanism (like similar excerpts or video’s could be found left and right, even not much, just enough for me to get the machine going again) and before ruining the camera, I was wondering if you have a quick explain or tip on how to / where to access that part of the cocking lever mechanism with enough detail so I can potentially adjust it properly.

Insufficient information
I'm no repair person, but I know a bit about the Mamiya TLR.
You can also loosen the lock ring for the shutter and rotate clockwise (looking from front) a bit to compensate / match the cocking arm's travel.

On my C-33 I need to cock the shutter each time I use it.
On the right side of the camera you can set for roll film or sheet or multi- exp.
Trythe sheet or multi-exp andsee if that works.
Does this help:

Further to my post.
If you type 'Mamiya c33 repair Manual' into Google, and scroll through the answers to the counjohnvict reference (page 2 on my machine) then click on it you should get taken to the site.
Strangely this method works with Safari, but times out with Firefox !!
Good Luck.
Malcolm.

thx.
Yes, i have seen that link which requires you to go to a download site and idnetify with your creditcard. Even if it is just for registration purposes and they say they will not charge as it is for free, the company "hosting" that site is in Cyprus which is not wildly known as a secure place for personal data. Looks like i have to live without it or would you lend it to me maybe if you have it ? (private message on this maybe ?). Basically, i think i need just one or two pictures that show me how to get to the lever.
Best regards, Edwin

Please don't file things! It's not a plant, it couldn't grow!
On one of my Mamiya's a ring in the shutter was worn and needed replacement. It was done at Mamiya service. I beiiive it had to do with speed settings. It was an awful long time ago..
