C41 high ISO

I've accumulated a drawer full of films that I want to get around to trying, one of which is 400NC. At this time of year, I really want to rate my film higher than ISO400 though. I've been having great fun rating XP2Super and BW400CN at ISO800 or ISO1600. Great results and easy to scan.

I'm wondering, if I rate 400NC at 800 or 1600 am I likely to be disappointed?

(I know you'll just say try it and see, but any input is appreciated!)

I am going to guess that by rating 400 NC at 800 or 1600 the results will be grainy, if that is the right word, and slightly dull colour compared to slightly overexposing it. OTH, if you like the results you are getting from your C41 B&W rating ithigher then you may like the results. Let us know how you make out.
