I ran out of b&w film and read on here that some of you had tried in different chemicals so I thought id try this. I used 1+9 and about 20 mins with some aggitation, next time I think I would go for 25mins or so and I should have got better exposures from the off (I guessed). I now have an E6 film in the cam and will be trying this in perceptol. Has anyone done anything similar if so pointers please.

For Fuji color film (normal Superia or Super HQ) I develop for the times for TMAX of the same speed. TMAX 100 and Fuji 100 and TMAX 400 and Fuji 400. Fuji films seem to work well in D76 stock, but 1:1 shouldn't be that much different. I've never tried perceptol nor have I ever done E-6 in anything other than what it's meant for...it's too expensive to mess around with. Dunking it in C-41 is anther story.

I would suggest taking the E-6 to a lab instead of dunking it in B&W chemicals...it would be interesting to see what happens, but not necessarily as economical as souping regular color print film in black and white chemicals.

The films only cost me 50p or something silly like that so its no great loss they would sit in the fridge till 2020 or later otherwise, so ill give it a go
