Just curious if anyone knew the value of an R2a or an R3a? Rich at Photovillage just told me only about $250 for an R3a, I didn't even ask about my user r2a. 🙁

Try to check completed auctions on ebay. Here in the UK they tend to go for about twice than this (£200+). Because of customs I would not consider buying from the US though.

That actually stinks. I was thinking of selling mine to finance a M3.

Remember, a retailer will pay less for a used camera than an individual will in a private sale. The retailer is running a business and has to buy low to produce what they have determined is an acceptable profit on resale. Just think of used cars, you will not get as much as trade in value as you would in a sale.

I would think a nice R3a would sell for $350 at least.

The latest three ebay auctions for R2a's ended with bids of $415, $436 and one around $445. That's US$.

That doesn't surprise me.
