It attaches to the phone via an adhesive plate, connects via Bluetooth — letting it serve as a remote — and has a two-stage shutter button, a multi-function button that can be used to switch modes or settings, a customizable control dial, and a zoom lever. Looks pretty nice. It's always a bit of a mystery as to what it will feel and work like...
I have not been too enthused about these sorts of devices, so far.

Very interesting. The MagSafe case makes this a viable tool. You can just snap the grip on or off the phone.
