Camera for you decendants?

Carl had hoped for a Play Station this year……………….

It's all fantasy ... your descendants will never do what you want or expect them to do.

This kind of truthful statment reminds me of something a distant cousin told me when I was avidly collecting family history information. He said "Kid... there's only one thing you need to know about your ancestors... they're all dead."

Isn't it perhaps some sort of desire for immortality that makes you want to influence your children in one way or another?

If I ever end up having children, they get the Crown Graphic. The M2 gets buried with me. Sorry, Kids.

The Graphic makes you REALLY slow down and think about everything you're doing.

I think every kid should use one.

I've decided that I don't want to "rule" beyond the grave. My kid, my wife, my bastards (if I happen to have any) can all do whatever they want after I'm dead. Let them sell the whole shebang and spend the money. What do I care if they do so, right? Besides, there'll be plenty of rubbish, books, papers, debts and gear left when I die. I'm not gonna will that one particular camera must stay in the family. It would be nice if one becomes a family heirloom but that's up to the people left behind.

Whatever I would leave, it would have to be something absolutely great. A camera that would satisfy their certain GAS troubles forever. God knows what that might be. RF645 maybe. Camera wise, I am as happy as I can possibly be. I'd love a Leica, but would never trade my RF away for one.

I'd just hate to hear of some decendant suffering this mess. 😛

I mean it.
