Wow, never heard of the camera til now!

BEAUTIFUL lines, actually. Really a pleasing look to the camera. Looks tight and well-built from the little I can see. How does it feel to you?

very solid, the double storke is the first I have had so it takes getting use to. View finder is not bad but darker then my QL17. App 3.5 - 22 and shutter speeds B - 300.

Is that a flash synch sticking out of the lens barrel on the (viewer's) right?

I think one thing that really looks nice, and stands out, is the black material on the lens front, where it has the Samoca and Synchro lettering. Very clean. The whole camera strikes me as beautiful. I like the "hammered" chrome, as well as the right-angle lines.

Nice one, for aesthetic reasons alone. If it takes some decent images, then that would be a heck of a nice bonus.

I would have named it 'Camera Porn', but I think the internets filters would have meant that all our young viewers would be unable to view the site from their school.

Since the early spring I've bought, either through RFF's own classifieds or eBay: a Voigtlander Bessa T, a Leica IIIf, a V/C 40/1.4, 50/1.5, viewinders for both lenses, hoods for both lenses, and an expensive mistake, a Canon 7, which arrived in terrible condition. I got that one repaired and sold it at a loss. I don't want to say I'm a junkie, but damn it, I have to put the brakes on. I'm now SELLING the T body...after maybe five or six rolls of film through it (bought new).

Martex

Martex

I picked up this Martex yesterday. It is pretty much identical to the Tower pictured above. I'm going out for a walk to give it a workout and will get the spool developed tomorrow so I can see how it does. I've also joined the Flickr group.
