Hello friends!

I was incredibly stupid and due to a severe case of lack of sleep and jetlag, I lost my camera at Seattle-Tacoma airport, on Tuesday, 20th of December, the terminal. :bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:

I noticed it maybe 15 minutes later, but when I returned to the place where I think I lost it, it was already gone.
I filed a report with lost&found at the airport, but I didn't have time to search the area or go to the police, because I had to catch my flight to Europe. :(

So, I'd kindly ask you to keep an eye open whether you see the camera appear on craigslist or ebay. Are there any second hand shops in seattle I could contact? Of course, the camera might be anywhere in the world by now, but all I can do is try...

It's a mid eighties Leica M6, with a 35mm Voigtländer color skopar II pancake. The lensehood of the skopar has a noticable dent and scratches. The brand and model marking on the camera are taped over, but of course that is easily removed. The serial number of the camera ends with 94. I had a leather wriststrap attached to the camera.

If you see that camera appear somewhere or have any idea where I could keep looking, please let me know!

best,
tim

Will do tim. Do you have renters or home insurance? My m6 was stolen from underneath my feet at a restrauant in Seattle. Filed a police report and insurance let me buy and new MP. A terrible 2 months that had a happy ending.

Also filing a police report with the SN will make it pop up at any pawn shop. In theory the owner will report it to the police. Let Dante at glaziers know too.
