When it comes to camera's, I've gone nuts!!! I let myself fall into the trap of chasing the magic bullet. For many years it didn't matter what camera I used, just as long as I had one available whenever it was needed. Then I decided to get a quality camera in hopes of improving the pictures I took. After months of research I purchased a Hexar AF. What a wonderful camera, quick, quiet, and helped me produce some really great pictures. But I also saw information about a thing called "Medium Format", and that larger negatives meant better pictures. So I bought a Fuji GA645, and wow, they were right. But if that was true, even bigger negs mean even better photos, so I had to get the Fuji G690BL, and then a Crown Graphic, and a Mamiya Universal Press. The only problem was, as the the cameras got bigger and slower, I took fewer and fewer photos.... All the while missing the Hexar AF & Fuji GA645. Each new camera was fun at first, then reality set in. My photography hadn't improved, and I didn't take the cameras out much any more. But I did always have my Oly XA with me. It was time to get back to the only cameras I was prolific with, so now almost all the other gear is gone and 2 really nice Konica Hexar AF's are on their way home. I will probably try to trade one for a GA645i. Then it will be back to basics, and back to taking lots and lots of pictures.....And now I know the chase was futile and it's over, and I am a happy man......
