Hi, I own a R-D1, and normally with Biogon 25MM attached. Since I travel a lot, I need to find a camera pouch or bag that can provid all angle protection for the camera with the lens on than the leather half case. It can be used wile carrying around, and put in my backpack or luggage when on airplane. I have been searching local stores and internet, but did not find a solution. What do you use when you have the same situation?

I've also been searching for the perfect bag to hold just my M6 with a 35 or 50 that can be worn either on the waist or shoulder. Must be well padded so it can be used on multi day hiking trips. I've tried a number over the years and am now about to hit the button on the Fogg Xylophone. They claim it can hold a Rf with 35 or 50 1.4 and lens hood attached. Sure it's dear but if I add up all I've spent to no avail so far, it'll be money well spent.

It seems very good, but the price is just a bit too high

This is what I use for all my rangefinder cameras: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...igns_575_101_ABK1_Multi_Strap_Bag_Black_.html

It's envelope shaped. You can use the strap it comes with if your camera has none or you can remove the strap it comes with and use the strap already on your camera. It's made of neoprene rubber (like a wetsuit) so it provides a bit of cushion against bumps, it just stretchy enough to let you squeeze in your camera with a larger lens attached, and it's still small enough that you can remove it and tuck it into a pocket or bag if you want to carry your camera free of the case. Oh, and it comes in several colors (black, blue, green).

I've used it with Leica M cameras, both with and without a Luigi half case still attached, a Leica CL, and a Hexar AF.

Bottom line is I highly recommend this case.
