My Bessa T has jammed. Both shutter curtains closed, camera empty, but the advance won't advance and the shutter won't fire. Recommendation as to where to get it repaired? Anyone taken one apart and had a fiddle themselves? I'm assuming the mechanical issue is going to in the bottom plate area?
I think it was probably my fault, had the camera upside down inspecting it on bulb, and wound on perhaps before the shutter was fully cocked 🙁

As always, a first class and rapid response from Robert White. Would have to go back to Japan for repair if handled by them, but told me that the component was standard (Copal shutter) and most decent local repair people would be able to sort it out 🙂

I thought all the Bessas had a vertical metal curtain shutter? Arn't copal shutters the metal leaf ones?

Sorry for hijacking - just curious.
