Greetings all,
I'll be leaving for Rome next week and was hoping to pick up some S625PX silver oxide batteries while there. I understand that they're better than alkaline for my M5. A local camera repairman in Seattle asked me to pick up a bunch for him too. Would any of you worldly travelers (or native "Romans ") know of any camera shops in Rome? Or would any little electronics store carry them?
Please, I've read the countless threads on mercury battery replacements and don't want another discussion on the best substitute for them. I've decided to use these and adjust the ASA accordingly. We tested at the shop and it's dead accurate by doing so. Alkaline will suffice if needed, but I'd prefer the SO.
Thank you all in advance.

Here you have a list of shops:

I would simply ask in any of them about the batteries - if they don't have them, you can get them through ebay:

And then, if you need something special, you can call Luigi Crescenzi:
Per informazioni o possibili appuntamenti, prego chiamare il 337 747633.
He does not have a street entry shop anymore, but if you are looking for half cases or some rare equipment, he will receive you on appointment.
