Cameras in movies...

I saw a really cheesy film (didn't catch the title) about 2 medieval chaps turned into frogs only to become human again in modern day New York

There was a woman in the film (as the love interest) who often had a Leica M6 (?) over her shoulder.

Clint Eastwood also schlepps a black Nikon SP with an S36 drive and Jacobson Powercon battery pack in "the Bridges of Madison County".
Nick Nolte (playing fictional Photojournalist Russel Price ) in "Under Fire" uses Nikon F's and a motorized F2, (as well as schelpping a Leica M something or other around his neck).
Mathew Modine and the actor portraying "combat correspondant" "Rafterman" use Nikon Fs in "Full Metal Jacket".
Dennis Hopper as the photojournalist in "Apocalypse Now" schleps about three or four Nikon Fs.

Funny thing is, it's not a simple prop. I saw one for sale on eBay about a year ago, it was professionally converted and fully functional.

In the original Lolita I remember the Peter Sellers character having a Leica on a neck strap. Correct me if I'm wrong.

In 'Two Lovers', Joaquin Phoenix shoots with a Nikon F with the huge metered prism, and a 50mm f/1.4 Nikkor-S if I remember correctly. Good movie.

Peter Parker carries a Canon F-1N in the Spiderman movies.

Jim B.

And in one main scene they flop the image and Sir Peter is tripping the shutter button that's located on the wrong side on the camera...:bang:
I announce my displeasure to the room every time I see that...
