When I cleaned my Iskra 2-lens I found out that it has some dust inside it. Did anyone here open up theirs? Should I give it a try or stay away? I am of course a bit afraid to disturb the shutter.

If the lens construction is is the same as the 75mm/3.5 Solinar on the Agfa Super Isolette, the answer is yes.

The front elements unscrew from inner helical. The rear element, unscrews from the rear of the helical. I use an old fashioned drafting compass with two metal tips to remove the front cells and a lens spanner for rear element.

If the dusts are not so many, pls let they be. They will not affect the quality of image.

If I remove the dust I will be able to compare before and after-shots. Then I will know if I need to do it ;)

Thanks! This sounds quite like the big Bessa 6x9 that I cleaned. And that was easy!

Yep, in this case this is a unit focusing assembly, so you will not need to recollimate the lens.

The main thing to cleaning really is to remove any haze that may have settled on the lens.
