Hi,
As most of us I'm stuck in quarantine at home for the coronavirus. I'm planing to make a shoe box pinhole camera for my children, but can't access dark room chemicals (I have a dark room, but not at home). I can try caffenol for developer, skip stop bath but.... what about fixer? As I said I can't bought anything as every shop except food is closed, and I can't order anything superfluous as this through Amazon, as this is putting in danger workers just for non-essential work.
Could I develop and wash in the dark a 4x5 film sheet or photographic paper used in my pinhole camera, and then rush to the flatbed scanner to digitalize the image before it vanishes for lack of fixer? Once I did that to a solarigraphy pinhole camera I had, but then the paper negative had been "taking" the image for months!
Thanks in advance.
