Lately I have been really digging on my Nikon film SLR's. Feeling the love when slowly composing and shooting. Really seems so much like the joy I get when shooting my rangefinders. Can I be a Nikon mystic, too?😎

PS Please don't tell me to go to another forum,

I'm with you on this. I have 2 'F' s that I use along with my Leicas. They are a nice compliment to each other and both Nikon and Leica have superb mechanicals and optics.

Akiva, Nikon SLRs are pure mystic too! Stephen must be right: Nikon RFs must be nirvana, I mean, nothing else to desire...

Having never used any Leica or Nikon RF myself, I think all highest sacred forces are waiting for me, if heaven allows one good day...

By now, Bessas and Nikon & Hassy SLRs are guiding me to the light of God...

I'll try hard until I deserve them...

Cheers,

Juan

For an SLR user, you can only be a Photo Mystic if you lock up the mirror and use the force to take the picture.

The Nikkor-O 2.1cm F4 does not count as "Mystic" as it has an external finder. Half-Mystic with scale-focus.

Using the Force in photography works truly well. Once took a picture with late my Pentax K100d and a 50mm wide open (75 equivalent) without framing and got a superb portrait. It's close to some kabalistic beliefs as it uses figures (0 and 1) to make a picture.
